Honestly, being cooped up in a lab for years would make me want to die more than being eternal

Good one

nice ending for the oneshot.

I kinda liked it. Does or did this mangaka ever had a serialization?

pretty sure the same mangaka that did artist acro

at glave

when you live to 100 in the body of a teen then I'm pretty sure his attitude is the one you get

Interesting setting, but the story progression was meh. I was kind of expecting a bit psychological stuff, with the MC being a 100+ years old human, surely he would accumulate experiences and knowledge, and shape up a bit more serious and wise persona. Well people personality do a bit influenced by their appearance, but the MC just act like a total teen of his appearance, without any trait of a man that lived a century plus.

For a starter, it was not bad, but not good enough either.

If this, will get/is getting serialized, i hope the author sees the potential in exploring MC's dilemma of being an immortal, his psychology and all that.

well, it's not really a dilemma to be immortal.

Everlasting lifes aren't even boring, there's so much one could learn/discover in this world if he's immortal ( no diseases, natural disasters or limits could stop it), he could climb all mountains, strive the deep sea, even leave the atmosphere and journey around the universe since the radiation/lack of air/food/water wouldn't be able to kill him.

The most fun would be to watch over the decline of humanity and the animal evolution after that (like in "The Future is wild"), even the upcoming cold phase of the current ice age which will overrun vast parts of the northern hemisphere with kilometre-thick glaciers in a few thousand years from now would be interesting to study.

The whole adventurer part would be very amusing and could last for ten thousands of years if not longer, so there would be nothing more to wish for than a very long-lasting life to live through it all!

so is kyubei a shinigami now?

Eh, I liked it. Could have used a little more work in creating a reasonable setting/characters to match the setting, but it was a nice story. My biggest issue was that the main character acted like a 15-year-old when he was supposedly 150. Regardless of his continuous regeneration, he would have seen some serious shit in his 150 years, but he doesn't act like that at all, and no reason for his behavior is given.

I'd like to see this in a series, with the main personalities and backstories slightly tweaked. It has some potential if played out correctly.

Mediocre start and not at all very interesting. It has way too much potential to go wrong. The author doesn't seem very smart either. Too many plot holes and annoying generic characters. If it makes it past the one-shot phase, then it probably won't last more than 20 chapters.

It's a really decent manga, it would be good if it came out monthly.

The art is pretty meh. The story is too generic, if this gets serialized, something tells me it'll be a harem manga. Too many of those at this point.

But, if the author learns from this one, I see potential in him creating a good story in the future?

This is really boring.

Ongoing?

Sakurai Ato is fresh. Although, he's a bit far from reaching greatness.

Weak, also:

MC said he was born in Meiji era (1868-1912) and he was hit by car 5 years ago.

HE DIDN'T NOTICE HIS IMORTALITY FOR 100 YEARS ?

Pardon me if I'm wrong but I think he meant because of the accident 5 years ago, other people found out he was immortal and that's why

Spoiler

not sure if this is a spoiler or not so I'll just put the tag here

Is this a oneshot? I hope it'll be serialized. Not great, but not bad either. Something different... feels fresh.

i hope this will be serialized
