Always a good read.
That was genuinely amazing and it really sucks that such talent was lost so early. The end commentary has to be one of the most saddening things I've read in a while and somehow contributes a lot to overall feel of the manga.
Did neither of you read the last page's In Memoriam -text? If not, please do, since you will be given obvious reasons for why this manga ended like it did: knowing a bit of background gives a lot more basis for opinions. : ) Personally, that last page gave me an answer to the questions I had after reading.
I like that they're anthros and still have pets like that. Gives the feeling of using caricatyrs to represent something more than just what it looks like. : )
But it's better than I had imagined.
