It was published in shoujo magazine, don't change its genre to seinen.
This isn't really that scary, yet it manages to give me the chills with every chapter I read. >.<
No gore, and somewhat creepy. Explores stories involving folklore, an interesting follow!

Agreed...
This is actually a really good horror manga for a shoujo. Usually shoujo horror stories are really weak and have a happy ending or some cheesy moral like "never lie to your friends" or "be nice to animals" (and still have a happy ending), but these are actually pretty good. I had to check Baka-Updates to make sure this was actually shoujo and wasn't tagged wrong. I highly recommend it!
Warning: The last chapter is definitely not for the faint hearted.
