i'm rereading the entire thing because i absolutely loved it the first time.
Loved this manga, kind of a shame that the Octopus girl didn't became one of the main cast, since her first appearance I was expecting that at some point.
I would love to see the future works of Anbe Masahiro translated, if possible.

I feel sorry for Cindy and the stooges, though. They had found a new kind of intelligent life form, only it was from the deep ocean, not the deep space.

Jesus, I actually feel terrible right now. I discovered Ika Musume about a year after its original debut, and it was one of the series that made me aim towards learning Japanese, the short stories and easy dialogue lending themselves quite well to my early days of reading. I never do well when longstanding series I adore end, regardless of how painless the end actually was.

There is a lot of things I want to say(probably will make another comment after this), but really the one thing that I didn't expect at all is that Cindy(along with three stooges most likely) is returning to America. I was really shocked when I read this page
and they didn't appear in the final chapter.
I mean this could be a material for one chapter, yet it was done in only one page.
I really didn't expect this, though it did give a final/last vibe for the story.
I am so sad now
