Description: | A terrible creature has been plaguing the community: a man with a fishbowl for a head. When he attacks someone, the goldfish leaps out of his bowl and drinks their blood. The victim is irreversibly transformed into a goldfish! This terrible crime has happened to high-schooler Kousuke's little sister. With no other option, he takes care of his goldfish-sister as best he can. One day, he comes across a strange girl named Ringo, who wears a school swimsuit, carries an umbrella, and keeps a gun hanging around her neck. Ringo is an apprentice blood diver, and the gun is her way of shooting herself into the wounds of the fishbowl man's victims. If she can get to them in time, she can prevent them from turning into goldfish. Ringo's mentor, Ichigo, says that she's heard of a way to turn people back from goldfish into humans. Kousuke is determined to help Ringo find a way to help his sister and the loved ones of his friends at school who have met the same fishy fate! Resumed serialization in Comic Earth Star's next issue. Seems to be getting a free digital release. http://natalie.mu/comic/news/131026 Prequel: > Chimoguri Ringo to Kingyobachi Otoko ( http://bato.to/comic/_/comics/chimoguri-ringo-to-kingyobachi-otoko-r5018 ) |

I would say it's sadly bittersweet ... although I was at least expecting a goodbye kiss in that moment
but the series always played as the author wanted, I mean, the ending really gives you a proper ending kind of feel.
although ch.9 went overkill,
You could definitely feel there was to be more from this story. Honestly, I mostly wanted more regular blood dives to see since they were really fun. But, that was a fine enough ending as is given the circumstances. I could feel worse about this.
Thanks for translating, Habanero.
But...the most important question was unanswered...
Where does the fisbowl man get such dapper suits?
Man, that ending wasn't bittersweet it was just...sad.
That was the good ending? This is a very strange mangaka for sure.
Thanks for the manga... such unique experience... truly a story like no other, The ending is too sad
This is why you should never believe in "the greater good".
5 stars.
Welp, that was brutal, even by his standards.
Jesus Christ!
that was awesome. So many died though...
That Sensei sure is fearsome.
What a bloodblath.
For some reason, the sort order got changed (5a, 5b, etc are just 5 now). I'll just merge all the chapters and reupload them when we do the next release to fix it.
Also, there doesn't seem to be a c008 part 2. Abe just made a longer c009 instead.
pfff, surreal... as usual
stop uploading 8a, you gave me hope for the next chapter every single time xD
yep, happy for the proper end, he really got lucky having another magazine taking him.
the reading order is kinda messed up. The pull-down list when you are reading is showing the chapter lists as (from bottom to top) 0, 1, 2b, 2, 3b, 3, 4, 5c, 5b, 5, 6b, 6a, 7b, 7a v3, 8a.
The actual reading order seems to be 1, 2b, 4b, 5, 5c, 6b... it's reading the last one on the list and then skipping to the next major chapter. Can anyone fix this?
I'd say the author was really lucky, actually. The first one ended because the magazine it was in went out of business, so he was really damn lucky that another one picked it up and let him continue the story. Now it actually seems to be coming to a proper end, rather than just cut off.
Not actual characters, in a way. They weren't introduced, though at the "end" of the first Chimoguri Ringo you could see them tied up in trucks, one of them was a giant.
They're apparently leaders/teachers behind blood diving, but they've only been talked about, we don't even know what their faces look like or how they speak.
Also, can someone remind me who Baba-sama and Sensei were again?
Did the manga get cancelled again?
This author has really bad luck.
Seems we're headed for an ending, I suppose.
A bit faster than I'd have liked.
and the fuckity fuck continues
if they make a big metaphor about menstruation I'm going to turn nuts
