Haha, I thought that last page was a bad jenga = sex joke, then I realized neither or the guys playing it were the names they said, officially one of the more concrete "romantic" endings to a shounen series lol

FUCK, the final story arc was pretty good but goddamn I wanted a better resolution so badly.

I really wish they hadn't skipped MC gathering the other Shinobi either.

I quite enjoyed this series, but I'm left with feeling incredibly unsatisfied. I really liked all of the characters, but I wanted a more concrete ending.

Alas, such is the life of an axed series.

Speaking of the ending, that jenga scene in the end, Haruhiko and Utsuki were actually fucking weren't they, it wasn't the ninja's playing jenga correct?

Good until they tried to make the main chara cool

Was a fun read. It had potential to be better with much deeper lore regarding the Tsuki no Sato or the whole backstory behind the company stuff. Characters too, but eh, it's an action-comedy shounen.

Overall it was decent. I'll miss the occasional awkwardly perverted humor that made my head tilt.

I think it just being 'good' is why I'll remember this piece better than most. Sure, it could have been better or more fleshed out, but perhaps I find its shortness refreshing, in a large collection of 'great' follows that haven't come to a satisfying end/yet to be scanlated. Then again, I'm a mooch, so these complaints are largely unsubstantial.

 

In any case, thanks a ton for bringing this to us, Nigihana, and from now on, I definitely have my eye on Shiga Haku's work (wish there was a 'follow author/artist' collection for the site)

Will try my best to provide scanlation for his work. Just need to look for people who actually are interested in translating.

I'm currently working on the last chapter and will be up by mid March. After that me and Kakarot will be working on Tsukiyoda Sadame no Sekai no Sukuikata as soon we get our copy. It's a series authored by Shiga Haku and drawn by Usui Ryuu.

Man, this manga started getting some kind of awesome all the way at the end. That makes me sad.

All will be explained in the final chapter. Nearly half of the chapter are flashback to when Shiinake and Utski were younger, before he lost his memories.

Not in love, that's just implied, but he's fighting for Utsuki because he wants to remember her, and he doesn't want to forget her, and all the things that happened to him.

But yeah, screw those shinobi rules man. Rules were meant to be broken. 

And I wonder if he still gets into Tokyo University when all of this is over. Whether he gets brainwashed or not, it'd be a cool throwback. Unless he dies.

It's funny how they use this training skip part in a story trying to make the main chara so serious, really.. You can't defeat someone only cause you went to train for almost 1 year, when the other guy probably trained for all his life lol
