| Description: | Ide Nobuhisa has always been a boy full of vitality and a young promise in the field of track running. However one day after a competition, he stumbled over the prettiest pair of legs he had ever seen! Their owner, a young girl practicing tennis makes a promise with Ide that she will teach him how to play. After seeing the name tag on her racket bag, Ide puts all his efforts into passing the test for accessing the same high school she goes to, Makunogama. In his first days in his new high school, Ide discovers two things: an old friend of his is also attending, and nobody knows of a girl with the name he saw on the tag! He and his friend join the school tennis club, where they meet another first year, Takita Louis (Ruui), a very good tennis player with a little of an attitude problem. However things start to look better for Ide when his dear missing girl appears in the school! As it happens, he misread her name on the tag... Takada Hinako was well known as one of the members of the tennis club, but some time after meeting Ide for the first time she suffered an accident and has now lost the use of her left leg. Hinako is no longer a happy spirited girl and tells Ide she can't fullfill her promise. Eventually the opposite characters of Louis and Ide end up confronting each other in a tennis match. Ide is an incredible fast learner, but he is no match... until Hinako decides to give him advice. Things only get worse, however, when their club president decides to put Louis and Ide as a doubles pair for the upcoming inter-high-school tournament! |

I don't normally read sports manga, but I'm glad I picked this one up. It's really good and it makes me want to pick up a racquet again
Great chapters, both Rui and Ide are growing up, not to mention the two from the rival school. Hanako Chan also seems to be going forward, as well. Thanks, Wingtip Cafe; you folks do a really fantastic job bringing us a great manga.

Wingtip Cafe, thanks for another great chapter. As a sports/youth manga, Shanimuni Go really rocks. The author understands tennis the way Adachi Mitsuru understands baseball, and she also understands how high school students think. The combination of sports, growing teenagers, psychology, humour, and a good story make this one of the best manga I've come across in a while. Ragawa Marimo and Wingtip, keep up the great work.

Thanks, Wingtip, for the new chapter. This is a great sports manga, as the mangaka can write a good story with realistic characters, a real plot, and also understands the sport. Looking forward to the second episode.

The romance is understated, and mainly one-sided (both romances), so it is mainly tennis, character development, and more tennis, with a little bit of romance thrown in. After all, it really is a sports manga, and not a romance manga with sports as a background.
As someone who has yet to read this manga i would like to ask is there actual romance in it?
Or is it mostly tennis and more tennis?

I've read until the most recent chapter in one go.. it's such an interesting story! I've always loved sports-themed manga and I think this is one of the most amazing ones I've read. I hope we'll get another chapter soon, but I'll do my best to be patient ^^ So continue the good work Wingtip Cafe!
Thanks, Wingtip Cafe, for another chapter. I'm really enjoying this manga. As a reader, I think Ide has to be a truly original character, with his combination of huge immaturity and passionate, pure emotions. A really good read, and an especially good sports manga.
