I go to their website and it seems the Smut Rocket want to pick this one, but they decided to wait for the book version instead magazine.
There is a continuation and they've already started releasing it, but no one has translated yet.

That extra chapter was pretty cute. If the sequel is like this I might not have to hate it.
I think the point is that the next generation is usually picked before the current ruler dies, so they spend a period (though I myself wouldn't make it as long as twenty years) working along with the previous generation to learn the ins and outs of the fiefs.
Isn't it great how the bad guy signed all the secret conspiracy stuff with his full name ans title? Ugh.
Somebody let me know when the sequel comes out. I need to hateread it.

This entire manga is nothing but Yaoi-baiting. TT___TT So much potential unfulfilled....
That 20 years line was seriesdroppingly stupid. Do they send out a memo to their enemies saying "We're having a minor succession crisis, please hold on and we'll get back to warring asap" and then the invading sit down where they stopped and start growing epic beards and cobwebs?
Ugh, it was feeling endy last time, now it seems they'll go into soul society for 2 years.

I'd say once they escape and reprimand those responsible, they'd cut to a coronation. To write beyond that would be a drag.
