Right off the bat I was turned away from it because of its lack of exposition.
I think it would be better to watch the anime "Selector Infected WIXOSS (12 episodes) then "Selector Infected WIXOSS" (12 episodes) although I will give fair warning the fist season does not really explain why but the second season does.
This manga appears to have different protagonists so it won't be exactly the same as the anime.
Without spoiling the story the phrases "Dammed if you do and dammed if you don't" as well as "Be careful for what you wish for" applies to the WIXOSS game.
