Description: In Tokyo in the year 2020, Minato Sahashi has failed the college entrance exam twice, is awkward around women, and he's unemployed. He could never stand up to his mother or little sister growing up, a trend that continues to this day. In reality, Minato is extremely intelligent, yet his inability to cope under pressure results in his constant failure and he has been branded an idiot and loser by many as a result. One day, Minato meets a girl named Musubi, who literally falls from the sky. Minato soon learns that she is one of the "Sekirei" and he is her "Ashikabi", a human with special genes that allows them to "wing" (form a contract with) a Sekirei. This binds the Sekirei to him and allows them to use their full power in the elimination battle with other Sekirei. Made up of cute girls, buxom women, and bishōnen, the Sekirei fight in a dangerous and sometimes deadly competition known as "The Game" or the "Sekirei Plan" organized by Hiroto Minaka, the chairman and founder of the mysterious and powerful MBI Corporation. Minato soon learns that being the partner of a beautiful girl is not all fun and games, especially when he discovers that an Ashikabi can have more than one Sekirei partner—and that's where the real trouble starts.

Just in case there are people here who missed its release.  The spin-off of Sekirei (365 days without her) has started in scanlation.

The ending to this is okay, everything seems pretty wrapped up to me. I wouldn't say "don't read it because it doesn't end" or anything, good read. Even if you have to go elsewhere for some of the chapters because people need to take things to far.

So, it seems Sekirei will be having a come back.

By May, we will hopefully see raws for an eextension of the series.

"365 days without a girlfriend".

The story of Minato Sahashi's life after Musubi goes missing.  It begins halfway through the 2 year period where she is gone.  Or so I suppose.

Article is up on ANN, and is linked to from the sekirei wikia.

Finally finished, thanks a lot for everyone who managed to bring this manga to us. I remember when i started reading this on onemanga, that was a long time ago.

My overall feeling for this manga is that at the start and until halfway it was really good (as far as harem manga go) and even after i have reread it a few times i still consider it true, although you can't help but feel that last 2 maybe even 3 volumes felt rushed. Still considering the fact that epilogue has been pretty much stretched over 5 chapters indicates that author had a lot of freedom and wasn't pushed under the wall and forced to wrap the story in 2-3 chapters (thank the fucking god for it).

Now since this is finished i'd like to see another work from this author returners which have currently only 4 chapters translated, but i'm not sure how it fares in japan.

Is this really the end? no more chapter or volume? :-(

Nothing, over and done.

I do suggest you check out various fanfictions if you need more sekirei.

You should check out my favorites' on my fanfiction profile.  (and yes I started writing a couple...)  https://www.fanfiction.net/~godrickharg

well  one of the first ecchi manga I ever read 10 years ago finally ends.

*Sniff* I need a moment alone.

Many, many thanks to all the scanlators involved for seeing this through to the end.

Harem end is the best end, as I thought. ~.~

Feels like a letdown.  After 187 chapters, things are pretty much back to Chapter 1, page 14.

thanks kmts, A-Team and Let It Go Scans for your work

Why is there a giant skip between 119 and 170? I read some of this a long time ago, and wanted to read it again since it popped up on the feed as finally being completed, but apparently a fifth of the entire manga is missing?

Are the chapters just misnumbered, or are those chapters actually not here? And if they aren't, where can I find them?

I too read it a long time ago, but I have no idea where I stopped. Ku was around though, I remember that much. I don't remember this being particularly good though. You can probably find all the chapters on another site, google to find manga scanslations and I'm sure it'll be one of the top results. Will probably have the word "manga" in the url as well. Along with possibly an animal found in Asia.

Things were rushed. Nothing really happened or advanced. Just like we beat the last boss yup. and that's it.

Ah, I wouldn't call that "sour" just personally unfulfilling. That said, we got a hell of a lot more after story then we'd usually get.

That said... I personally would like to see life after Musubi returns.. sounds like a fanfic should cover this much...

How was this a sour ending?

:K I just hate sour endings. When will I find a good ending like FMA? I cry.

Those chapters were done by the A-Team, who didn't allow releases on Batoto.

BTW:  Congratulations GodricKharg and Let it go Scans.  Well done.

such a long ride. this is one of the first manga i read and the reason why i still read manga today. along with omamori himari, zkc, negima, maken, etc.
next work of this author please somebody? or his twitter?
i'd like to follow. and many thank to all the scanlators.

Her next work I believe is Brave Star Romantics. I have some RAWs, it's similar to Sekirei in a way... involves people with super powers so it's a battle manga.

I can't get one image out of my mind however, it's a very ripped Minato looking character with a number of very Sekirei looking characters around him...

Keep in mind I've not seen a translation of it yet, and I'm Hoping for one soonish.

Teh end!

That said, I haven't read this in years. Can anyone tell me if this is worth re-reading from the beginning?

I vote yes... at least once...  that way you don't have to be left wondering about things you might have forgotten.

Just don't blame me if it turns out you wish you had simply forgotten...  I'll be queuing up to re-read the entire thing at least once in the next month.

by the power of love...duh

haven't you learned anything from no. 08

Spoiler

basically being a kouten master got in the way of musubi's love so no.08 yume took it.

lol this is actually possible

Well, consider that Miya was both #00 and #01, so Musubi is both #08 (who's core she has) and #88...

I want to say she left a clone of herself on Kouten, but Minaka is there 'watching over' the place. I don't know about you but I don't really trust the guy...

I can just imagine Takami blowing a gasket...

Finally.
