Wonder if we will ever see the second one (the manga adaptation) translated.
Watch the anime too. It's great.
So this is the first of 12 , awww , i want more ..
That was an adventure. The world and backstory had a different feel about it. And admittedly, I love Balsa's design; she's a beauty.
I suppose the only nitpick is that I really wished it was just a little longer. Maybe one extra volume, just to explain things more or immerse one's self within the world.
The ending also felt a little glossed over or rushed. Like, a couple of scenes with the old sage and his group would have been nice, along with the hunters. Maybe this has something to do with the fact the story end is set up for a sequel.
I do believe I'll hunt down the books since it's anyone's guess whether or when the second manga series will be picked up.

This is refreshing, good classic fantasy adventure. No edgy teenagers, ridiculous fanservice or OP superpowers, just an interesting story and good characters.
