Description: | Long ago, there existed two different groups of people. One had red blood and the other had blue blood. They co-existed peacefully, but eventually they started to hate each other and a war broke out. The massive red blood army initially overwhelmed the blue blood but with the help of new technology developed by Kodo, the prince of the blue blood, the blue bloods were victorious. The new technology, called the Haguruma, is a powerful robot type machinery capable of devastating destruction. As the red blood people were enslaved, Kodo saw what monstrosity his Haguruma was being used for. Helpless red blood people were being hunted down and murdered. Overwhelmed by guilt, Kodo rescued the refugee red bloods and refused to build any more machines. His father, the king, ordered him to be executed, but he barely escaped and now without a home, he must survive on his own. |

Not such a fresh series unfortunately. The series never really did anything interesting with the world or the ideas brought forth. The characters in particular underwent little to no character development or just didn't fucking matter.
so..is that bow girl at the end the same bow girl at the beginning?
And so it ends. Bittersweet.
Might be closer to Frank-Einstein.
I MEAN ITS JUST ONE LETTER OFF.
Lol. To be frank, it's not like one can learn anything from SR4 either.
A pity they're not keeping up with the blood colors anymore.
Man, nothing like the bolded would ever happen here in the modern USA.
While I find the plot to be rather interesting, the myriad of plotholes and inconsistencies, as well as his obvious inability to keep up with each chapter's page count (thus the repeated pages on the later chapters) shows the mangakas inexperience. It's still an interesting read, but i can't help but feel that this story would have been served better if the mangaka had waited until he had more experience.
Ha! No, I just occasionally affect long-obsolete Britishisms because I like them. It's not like anyone in England actually talks like that.
I see, so you're an European. Good thing I took my idiom lessons on Saints Row 4.
Thanks for the update!
o.o? Did I miss something?
On another note....when is that king/Kodo's father going to stop being in shadow xD At this point it feels like it's going to be a =0, Kodo (or Kujou....) and his father look identical!! Gasp!! Plot twist
not!!Any way it goes though, I've been a sucker for this series since chapter 1.
this is super cool, because robots
The light (Aurora) explains everything, it is electrically charged, so it can act as an EMP wall, etc. just like the one in the north pole
Back then, things were more civilized, emperors needed a place to send people to die...now dictators can just make them disappear no questions asked.
Hadrian's Wall worked pretty well. The tribes of Scoti could still raid, but they couldn't get the cattle they stole back across the wall, so it was kind of pointless.
The Great Wall OTOH, was never really intended to stop Mongols. It was intended to act as a headstone for lots and lots of political enemies. If emperors etc. didn't like someone, they'd send them off to work on the Great Wall, problem solved.
The characters are just so flat and uninteresting. The combat is just giant robots fighting a kid. I read it waiting for him to invent things that are badass, he is a engineer right? Probably has to do with how linear the story plot is, cry about people dieing -> fight giant robot -> cry. The only things he invents is a super power stand in (destroys only robots when he touches them), and the other thing is a village. I may just be influenced on how boring the characters are though, I thought I could only read about people so flat in a cliche harem manga.
My guess.
But it isn't a "normal" wall. It's a wall of "light". Let's wait and see what special effects it causes.
Totally agree with you, especially since the Blue-Blood has them hagurumas (they can just fly over the wall.
Because there are idiots who still think that "Status" means "Status in original country", when it actually means "Level of Completion on Batoto"
