Description: Robocop, if it was a buddy cop flick set in rural Japan. Basically a lighter SoL GitS starring a shy and childish killing machine, tryhard virgin cop, and Former Internet Idol Hitoha doing cop things in rural Japan.

Monju, the last representative of the Japanese police force, can not believe his circuits! He has been assigned to a police station in a rural area. Aside of being forced to team up with Junpei Yamagashi, a young police officer obsessed with women and whether or not he's balding, he also needs to defend himself against hostility towards him. When a perverted voyeur gets reported the robot places his suspicions immediately on his partner. But Junpei won't stand for the accusations and is determined to restore his honor!

--------------------
From MangaHelpers:

Monju was a prototype of a line of anti-crime police robots, and he was an elite, celebrated member of the force. Now, to his dismay, he's been re-assigned out in the country, working alongside Yamagashi Junpei, a young cop who is mostly concerned with his possibly thinning hair and sexy women. Monju's combat capabilities seem unnecessary for a small town with its small crimes, and the people don't initially welcome him. Monju will have to find his place in this new situation, and win over the people around him with his skill for protecting the innocent. The first major case he must solve is catching an underwear thief, who Monju suspects might actually be the perverted Junpei. Will the two of them be able to catch the thief and clear Junpei's name? Huh... Is this... a Kalashnikov-style anti-armour rifle?

Yep. A gigantic AK on alternative history Soviet mecha from Full metal panic

#Robot life matters
P.S. Monju’s big bro

This is depressing as hell

Given that he's on the cover of volume 12 at the top of this page I'm rather expecting him to make some kind of comeback, y'know?

This is depressing as hell

This is my current favorite manga.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES.

An update \o/

Praise be \o/

Unfortunately, I will be the one to inform you that your haiku has 5/6/5 syllables. Suggest a 'to' between 'me' and 'here'?

Needs to be picked up by someone.

"Robocop, if it was a buddy cop fli-" Followed.

Sounds like a perfect time to quote Back to the Future:

Marty McFly:  "Are you telling me that this sucker is NUCLEAR?!"

looks awfully similar to Kiruko-san. I'm fine with that

I thought the same but this one is from 2005, Kiruko copied it and probably it was the motive it was axed even with all the success it received, pressure, really a sad thing, Kiruko was really good and JUMP got away with bigger and stinkier rip-offs (To-Love Ru is another case).

Anyway can the policeman hair loss be related to the energy source?

Check out the author's sequel Ryuuma no Gagou, it's worth reading just to see how different mood the same art style can evoke between slice of life and action genres.

If you like it, buy it, etc.

CDJapan (easiest for English audiences to buy from, in my experience)

Author's Twitter, if you have nice words to say.

Chapter 1 done. Huzzah! Let me know if anything looks weird, or if there are any errors. This is my first attempt at anything related to scanalating (other than reading what others have done), so I probably did a bunch of things wrong. Someone posted the translation for this on /a/, so I don't know who to credit for that. I just did the editing (and a few script modifications).

Anyho, this looks like a good series, and I'd be willing to edit more of it if somebody wants to translate.

^Everyone thank this guy, he's the reason we could get an introduction to this series. What a champ.

The premise to this is just so intriguingly bizarre, and at the same time completely normal, that I cannot help but want to read this.

...

And after reading it, I now conclude that this might end up being a really fantastic slice of life with sci-fi twists. Looking forward to the possibility of more.

very interesting premise, could be excellent with good execution.

thanks for the chapter(s).

Found someone to typeset the chapter, so hopefully more to come someday.
