I don't think so, though I suppose depending on where you're coming from that could be the happiest ending.

djabea, thanks for your insight. I had a feeling that that was the way things were. It's too familiar to be two separate things.
I was prepared to shed some major tears, but it really was a moderate slice of life. I enjoyed this a lot.
This is exactly the kind of stories I like to read. At first they make you happy with a gentle touch of sadness. And when you start getting to attached to the charachters ... BOOM!!! Hahahaha!
