You can try the websites in the extra chapter, although I get the feeling they'll only ship to China.. otherwise, I did a quick search and it is listed on Amazon.
As you expected, it's pretty expensive compared to the prices in China (almost 4x).
EDIT: So I found a listing of which chapters are in which volume and some chapter titles on Taobao (although many are just rephrased lines). I've updated them here!

It certainly feels like the author just got bored with the series, or bit too much for herself to begin with(attaching all these serious moral/ethical quandaries to a simple romance story)

Meh. It was okay. I liked Maomao and the relationship, but am disappointed they didn't properly resolve/address the issues raised by the antagonist. He totally has a point that it's unfair for people to be ranked and get special privileges based on their tianxia ranking. His daughter didn't get fucking medical care because her rank was too low to be worth it! That's fucked up. Plus moving forward with technological advancements seems like a good idea. While destroying and outlawing old/traditional things isn't the way to go about it, if the government is intentionally holding back technology and progress that's pretty bad too.
All of this is resolved by saying "hey... Your child will bring you happiness :)" (y'know, provided he also doesn't die due to lack of medical care lol)
Plus, this guy apparently successfully synthesized an artificial way to boost your strength... yet no one wants to use it (for good or bad)?
Enjoyed it while it lasted. Don't feel particularly sad that it ended either.
