I also agree, I could understand how it got axed, too cliche and dull moments for a story that it has a lot of potential, first chapter was great then the level of awesomeness drop from time to time ... I like it the final chapter, the axe got hard but at least the kind of sad ending was well done.
2nd the art was good, The first thing it made me remember was Ao no Exorcist, as the kind of art and how the story is told.
still for being in Jump SQ I wouldn't have expected for the axe to drop so soon u.u
That ending.... I didn't even realize it's the end until I read the little note on the last page. WTF. @__@
At least One Piece is the most popular manga, still....
... sadly, One Piece's core demographic is now over the age of 18. After it ends, will there be any classic Shonen epics to run in Jump?
The fact that things like to-love ru and rosario are popular in Japan says it all.

Great art (especially the eye effects), cliche story but it seemed like it was going off in it's own direction if they had given it more time.....just like Stealth Symphony and tora kiss

Personally, I liked this manga (however chapter 7 is a bit of an exception, as IMO, it was horrible; you can kind of feel instantly that this was axed after chapter 6 was made and author had only one chapter to finish it). When I heard it got axed, I looked around on some Japanese forums, and I've read a lot of comments that:
- the story cliché
- the art was terrible
I absolutely agree with the first statement.
About the art: I kinda liked it. I never translate a manga if I hate the art, and I thought Second Brain is kinda nice, so I first didn't even understand why would many people say the art sucks, but then, concentrating on the art, I reread this manga, and I realized that in some places the art really is off a bit.
All in all, I liked this manga and it's a shame they didn't let it continue for a bit more to see if it could become better or not, but I can kind of understand why it got axed as well.

"We" foreigners are 10 years behind in taste compared to the japanese when it comes to manga. I still love psyren, dragon ball and so many other superpowered manga.
This was good, the mcs and the backstory... their struggles were good too. It was too sudden i.m.o
I'd like to see if he wakes up or not.
This will be like psyren, in bed continuing the story and creating new arcs. The mc sleeping with number 7, the other girl goes yandere... an island for espers and the infiltration of that island...
With this I'll try to think tonight how I'd like to continue this.

Cos it's too ordinary. Maybe 10 years ago it could have survived, but the readers of this decade don't let anything continue unless it's unique
I'm quite definite he was the guy with the glasses from last chapter. I mean he used wires to keep the girls up and it looks like his powers are the same this chapter.
Sigh.
