Yeah, it's kind of strange. There's this odd atmosphere, like a feeling of resignation or hopelessness in the face of looming heartbreak, but it all seems so utterly inevitable that you can't even feel sad about it. Everything is so ambivalent and detached that the moments of sharp and distinct pain are almost comforting, and there's a brutal lack of poetry to the way the stories all seem to warp and bend towards life-changing events that never end up happening at all.


In other words, this was definitely written by Takahashi Shin.
