This has all the makings of a Newbery winner.

Coming of age story where the protagonist's mundane life gets shaken up by a quirky character whose tragic death signifies MC's maturation.

Bonus points for the dead dog.

Ugh, it was painfull to read. Because it all could have been avoided if only someone had common sense in that place and the adults acted like adults. At least the kids could justify being morons because they are kids. Frustating.

That could be said about almost any drama manga.

Thank you.

Thank you very much for scanlating this manga! Was a really good read

All that remains is a memory. Poor girl.

Well, that was a beautiful tragedy with good psychological depth.

manly tears were shed this day... *sniff*

wait... but.. i mean... i... i.. ah... damnit... goddamnit... *sigh*... what was i expecting anyway... a sliver of hope in the middle of despair... yeah... not going that way at all... time to look something that'll cheer me up...

Insanely disturbing plot with very little hope for salvation. Really thankfull to voth author and scanlator for providing such a quality read.

Thank you for whoever picked up this project. I'm glad your friend asked you to, we greatly appreciate being able to continue reading this.

As for the manga so far:

Oh god...what a terrible series of events. I'm gonna go lie down on my bed and slowly cry myself to sleep...

Depressing but really good.

Thank you for the updates!!

This is a very riveting manga and I'm very happy you picked it up again. I wish I had the time to contribute to the scanlating process for it...

This is just depressing.

Still reading it though. I'm such a masochist >____<

AN UPDATE !@#$%^&*()

...
It's too painful to even remember what happened in ch9-13...
The hell I was reading it for?!... :'(

This is reminding me of Deep Love again ; ;

Especially when my mind scream WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY GOD WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
@Lowlightt Maybe, But I don't think so
Very impressed by the depth the author gives to the character and their various psychological problems, something unusual considering nearly every mangas use simple stereotypes to define their characters.

In this story they're all very believable , but in their own way, as sometime the author goes a bit over the top like the rabbits case.

And he manages to translate that feeling of uneasiness the heroin have around Mokuzu to the reader, a sign of very good story telling.
I've only read up to chapter 8 but

Spoiler
Erm, its a very good manga but... I knew the ending from the first chapter. I guess I kinda read the mind of the author... so, I prefer not to read all of it, it has a sad ending in a way.
The manga is really good but I wouldn't recommend if you don't like sad endings.
