I UNDERSTAND.... me too
?
this is a really cute series and i'm so looking forward to more chapters <3
Yo I'm actually amazed at this, it's so wholesome and yet relatable/slice-of-lifey, while staying accurate. I just feel really happy to see this. I'd love see more Muslims (both guys and girls) as everyday people in manga.
And lowkey would love to marry someone like Nadia somedaySeriously, I always eat a ton at Iftar especially since friends and family are always visiting for Ramadan. Gah. This year I plan to keep exercising and be careful to stay hydrated (I usually work out right before sunset), hoping for results haha.
the ramadhan chapter is a callout for many muslim i feel attacked
lolol that abdullah/ahmad/mohammad
In my country those name usually treated as 'first name you don't have to use when you call them' (the boys usually have three name: mohammad/ahmad - A - B without surname, and we use A to call him. Eg. Mohammad Fajar Pratama) because there maybe 2 - 5 boys with that name in each class.
I grew up thinking it's a kind of title, but turns out it just a super common name.
This might be the first time I see a manga that actually has a muslim main character... or even muslim character mmm...
So far it's pretty good mmm...
Btw I never see a muslim girl use more than 2 type of covers, most of them choose only one type of the covers mmm...
This is pretty great.
That's so cute~
Always wanted to read this. Thanks for the translation! The first 8 chapters were great
