Pretty rough start. There's nothing to really like about any of the characters, and the idea that she had no other choice but to go to a boys-only boarding school is confusing to start with. Even if there were no other boarding schools that accepted girls in that town, couldn't she just go somewhere else? There's plenty of examples of secret crossdressing school manga, but at least they usually find some reason why the character has to go to that school specifically, so that it actually matters if they get found out or not. Here it's just "I was too embarrassed to tell my dad I failed, so boys' school it is". It seems like getting found out would probably be the best thing, because then somebody could tell her to stop being an idiot and find some other school that would actually accept her.

Also: why was the fully-grown adult teacher participating in that room-assignment contest against half-developed teenagers? Aside from the obvious unfair natural advantage he has over a bunch of kids, what is he even doing? Doesn't he have his own place? Is he seriously having to win his own room, or was it just an excuse for him to grope the protagonist ASAP? Bleh. I don't mind contrivance, but at least make an effort. Maybe it gets better after this, but wow is this not encouraging.

The premise sounds like my jam but I couldn't finish the first chapter. Seems kinda bad.
