When will some more chapters in English be added?

.. is what I'd like to say, but I've been working on onsen yousei with viscoun, and sakurasou naturally takes me longer to translate due to the more-difficult language used. I'll endeavour to finish another chapter before the end of the year, but knowing myself, whether this gets finished, is definitely no promise!

I do believe Crunchyroll is translating this. It may make the slow releases make sense.

As mentioned before, the anime cut some parts that the LN had make a little more obvious, also as the Manga.

Basically in the Anime it's not shown almost until the middle to the end that Mashiro is falling for Sorata, were in the LN and in the Manga, it's obvious by the actions from Vol 4 on.

 

And the Manga is also following a slow pace, more in line with the LN that with the Anime (We are in Vol.7 already released and what was covered is until the part were Rita arrives from England to bring back Mashiro. To be honest the last chapter from Vol.7 is the talk between Rita, Sorata and Mashiro were she finally realises what Mashiro want, and break while crying).

 

So we haven't even reached the end of the first season, were it finished with the Cultural Festival.

Well I've watched the anime and i really liked it and I'm still hoping that there will be a season 2... even though the chances are very slim. And i would read the LN but as far as i understand it isn't translated to the end yet or wherever the anime ends.

This is super rather late but, you'd better hope the manga doesn't follow the LN too well.

The LN story is a bit different from the anime and is considered to be inferior. I don't mind it, but others found it too difficult to read(to the point where some hoped they never make a season 2). The ending of the LNs will make you rip your hair out even if it is a happy ending. Of course, if you have read it and are fine with it, then ignore this lol

 

Also to be considered is MisakiXJin. That one is unchanged so if you feel that ship is enough, then you are fine regardless of the media you choose.

hmm? I didn't watch the anime yet, but I've read the LN, so I guess, assuming from your words, that the anime toned down the inferiority complex and depressing elements?

The anime was one of my favorites, so this is a series I was never very fond of the fact it had little releases of.
