Sakana no Miru Yume

I still liked it though. I didn't understand some characters well until it got to the end where I realised there were 6 main children characters only

i usually love tragedy, melodrama, incest, mental illness, and gayness in fiction but somehow i still managed to hate this

 

the author seems totally unconcerned with giving any of the crazy behavior any sort of context or reason. the characters are all opaque and bewildering. there's so much over-the-top melodrama but the story doesn't use it for anything, the characters all seem totally unaffected by it all, like some kinda of sewed-together, frankensteinian genre mash-up of melodrama and slice of life

Great story

well, last chapter was really short.

although feels like a lot was implied and not clearly mentioned. but I suck at inferring from implications.

this is...really interesting. almost all the characters are warped to some extent.

the closest thing to normal seems to be Takayanagi, Natsuo and SCP.

 

but I do hope for some sweet pairing in a bit.

What do we have here, a crazy lesbian romance(?) story involving typical sociopathic kids. And an incestuous pedophile preying on his daughter? Well this is revolting. Being stressed over unrealistic characters and plot holes should be the least of our worries. This is just sad and twisted mediocre story. Nothing to see here.

 

You know, just for once I'd like to see someone say "I don't like the tone of this story" without trying to shove in the usual meaningless boiler plates used by wannabe internet critics. You don't have to validate your opinion, but you do have to validate criticism. You failed on two accords at once.

Well if it was about not letting her be apart then that probably would be the worst way to go about it, since the whole point of that college application was so they could go together. I can't even imagine what she's thinking...

t think she would make it into the same school as Tomoe and so she pulled this stunt to keep the two of them together. The friend probably told Tomoe something like "Hey, I'll drop our applications off together since the post office is on my way." Tomoe, grateful for having such a considerate friend, agreed, never expecting that her application would delayed.

Definitely need more.  Especially since Happy End's ending sucked and Point at Infinity got dropped after 1 chapter although it seems like it could be good.
