Oh, Saenai, centering on one of the female leads, let's take a gander at it.

First few chapters are just a retelling of the main storyline. Finally get to chapter 6. Oh sweet, it looks like we're finally getting to the juicy parts.

As I keep reading my face keeps making a WTF expression. No worries, I'm sure everything will be explained at the end.

Finally reach chapter 14 and... GODDAMNIT! What sort of reasoning is that? How does anyone, anywhere make that sort of mental gymnastics to reach that conclusion? This is so stupid, so senseless it's twisted. I've heard of manga logic, but this shit is ridiculous.

Is it all??, I thought this manga will be a new story(or side stories)  with eriri like main heroine but is not exactly like that, It likes adaptation of the novel about eriri arcs.

I didn't read all yet (I did relesed part of main story, though), but from first 2 chapters I get the feeling MC is trying to make a new Eriri out of Megumi. No matter how you look at it, Megumi is moe. She is goddamn Yamato Nadeshiko. And what does MC remark when she repairs the door - the thing she doesn't have obligation to do, but still does? He says that he'll make her into a bitch who breaks door. Why? Because he can't just have already complete bitch right beside him?

 

He keeps telling she has no individuality? That's true only if you define "individuality" as a "set of undesirable traits only masochist would enjoy in another human being". She's already unique, you know? She always does things he expects the least.

Not gonna lie, Eriri still kinda annoys me right now.

She still won't apologize? Cause she cried a lot? Cause she had to push him away? Cause she had to ignore him? What? That is the most self-centered thing I've seen her say so far. She chose to do all those things in order to keep her friends-that-weren't-really-her-friends and her new public image.

 

Some people just aren't cut out to be the subject of constant scorn, and she's one of them. That's totally fine. But she needs to accept the fact that she just wanted the easy road and that meant deeply hurting a friend (and herself) in the process. If she doesn't apologize before this story is over, it's going to be a massive disservice to their relationship.

 

I love her; don't get me wrong... But seriously, even if she half apologized for it, it would be better than saying she'll never apologize for hurting the guy for several years. Everything that happened were a result of her actions, not his.

No wait, I didn't read the Ln or the last few chapter but turn out she just cared about her image and not scared that girls with better drawing talent will snatch him away as I thought?

chapter 14 was indeed great, but looved 15, because eriri didn't make it in the end xD (I don't like her as a heroine) and well the scenes that utaha make me laugh with all ends in (LOL) xD

You still have the version focused on Kasumigaoka Utaha and one in Katou Megumi.

I'm pretty disappointed by the ending... I mean, it's a spinoff of the LN so they could have at least given an appropriate spinoff ending. The last chapter is absolutely loaded with implied intent so I suppose that's supposed to send a message, but that sort of ending is just unsatisfying.

I think it would have been fine if they didn't turn the final kiss into joke material for the last pages. :\

Sadly, you'll never end up with a childhood friend. I'm not surprised about the Ending...

Eh, Eriri's not properly conquered. No confession, no kiss, nothing. Tomoya didn't even fall fully for Erir. I guess good enough, considering (what people say) that she's not the forefront girl in the original LN.

 

The ending still left me unsatisfied though. Ugh.
