what a shame...this manga can be good if get serialized

Such a beautiful oneshot!  Such a shame that it's only one chapter.

Translator and typesetter here.  Wanted to chime in with a couple thoughts on this point.

First and foremost, this manga won a newcomer's award from Kodansha and was recently posted online on moae.jp (where they host a whole bunch of their other award-winning shorts).  (Yes, the one with all the big plans in America.)  Kodansha's serious about making money, and they're absolute fools if they aren't looking at the shorts they selected as worthy of awards as candidates for reworking, else for serialization.  It's entirely possible that we see a follow-up to this work from the author or we see the author involved in another Kodansha project.  Let's just see, shall we?

On its own, it's a wonderful little project, but it's hard to see it as a closed loop.  True that it might never make it to the 500 billion or so chapters of a One Piece, but much, much worse manga have been based on far, far, far less interesting concepts and still run for a few dozen, few hundred chapters.  (coughNISEKOIcough)

But I'm perfectly content never seeing a sequel.  This is lovely.  I read it and fell in love with it as it is.  =)

Well.. idk why people hate Nisekoi so much, at least it's still above average (you know why) mmm...

But surely this one is very lovely woudn't mind for it to get like one or two volume, but just as a oneshot it's also very good mmm...

Thanks for this oneshot, I would like to see more of this story even if it is just a oneshot to conclude this story. I guess that I will search for more works of this author, if there's any.

I want more.

Short, but beautiful oneshot. It might be hard to make this into a series besides few more chapters, but to me it feels long enough as it is.  Hoping to see more from this author.

Hmm, I can think of various ways this could go...

Those guys look like villagers from Akatsuki no Yona.

I was thinking before I started reading, "Curse of the dragon?  That guy should go work for Yona!"

Damn, this is adorable. I want more. A one shot of this is just cruel.
