I agree with this post, but the primary issue imo is that the FIM-92 is a guided missile that locks onto aircraft engine's exhaust ports, a really hot IR signature.

Self defense is already established in a cycle of violence.  Rose & Marie are killing monster girls because the people in their village were attacked.  Monster girls are killing the humans because the members of their community are being attacked.  Hopefully Slyvia can help bridge the gap and bring an option for some peaceful relations between the two groups.  Or is she just being setup for a tragic, violent end? 

No I was talking more like "immediate" self defense not the "excessive" self defense your talking about.  If a specific individual monster attacks them and it's killed in retaliation that's self defense. if the monster retreats and then the next encounter doesn't make an aggressive move before they kill it then it becomes "excessive" self defense.

Still though it's not like Rose and Marie are attacking first. Self defense is always established it's not like they can say "Stop wait I'm not here to kill you" when the monster girls are already trying to butcher them.

Still though it's not like Rose and Marie are attacking first. Self defense is always established it's not like they can say "Stop wait I'm not here to kill you" when the monster girls are already trying to butcher them. And to be fair while the arachne was more of a "pitiful" death this current mermaid has already proven that she has evil in her heart.

A stinger missile is much easier to dodge than a bullet. It has something to do with bullets moving at supersonic speed and missiles moving much more slowly.

And a minigun with a chainsaw?
1. They're girls. They can't handle heavy equipment the same way guys can.
2. Might I remind you that they were running out of bullets? Using a minigun when you're lacking bullets...

nice correction:) yeah stinger missle will do the job..but honestly i find the plot bland..maybe because they dont establish the villains or what are there motives, organization, sure they need food incase for vampires and harpies, which for me dont belongs to this time period, maybe in the 19 century its ok but this is the 1970 its the hippie revolution i mean come on its the happy days..well as we are here now this manga is just starting and there is a bunch of conspiracy waiting to happen..well maybe its time that we see a commie vampire instead of nazi one:)
