Someone needs to tell me how all the stories were connected. I got the gist of it, but it's still extremely confusing.

This is a really late reply, but if you're still wondering, this manga is based off the band Sound Horizon's Roman album. The way it's connected is that: Hiver Laurant (the white-haired man with the star/moon tattoos) is the spirit of an unborn child. He sends his twin dolls Violette (night/death) and Hortense (morning/life) to the living world to see what it means to be alive--and if it's even worth it to be born, so to speak.

From there, it's mostly speculation. But it's worthy to note that each story/"roman" has a character named "Laurant" in it. My personal interpretation is that these are all parallel universes and these characters are different personifications of Hiver himself and of his varied possible futures.

That was more emotional than I thought. I almost crying here and its rare for a manga to get me to that extent.

All stories are great but my personal favorite are 3,5,6 and 8.

That hurt to read. In a good way.

I'm not going to say it's the most enjoyable read, because I found it hard to keep going at times. Heck, even at the very end, some of the stories still don't sit well with me.

But it was a very good read. And it says a lot about how life is, if not exactly what we'd want it to be.

Worth your time, if you can bring yourself to read it in one go.

Old releases.Just uploading the remaining chapters to make it complete.

Great short stories, a good emotional read.
