I don't know why there aren't that many isekai like this, who transport yourself to another person in the same timeline. Because we have to get into quantum mechanics and superposition if it's a different timeline and it's your own self.

This is what weirds me out and perhaps makes me dislike this series a bit. He sounds apologetic that he had no idea how poorly she was treated when he learns what kind of life and restrictions she had been secretly leading to this point, but then uses her body and puts it in extreme danger both primarily in order to get revenge, and then to save their younger brother. He spends no time wondering if his sister is like, you know, okay, and just kind of takes the whole situation for granted. "I'm in here now, so I might as well use my sister's body as I see fit to get revenge!".

 

Sure, maybe he's operating under the assumption that his little sister would have wanted to save her little brother as well, but he's putting her in an extreme situation with mostly personal motives at work, and has already pretty much destroyed her connection to the (albeit shitty) family. 

If their world has rules that are similar to an old China, then I think what he did was actually for the best. He might have actually saved his sister for the time being.

No. She clearly grew up and the MC's family knew her. He didn't go into a baby's body, but took over his sister's teenage body...  Maybe she killed herself (abuse + getting sold into marriage).  Either way, this guy should be a little more concerned with his sister's life.  If she's coming back, isn't he kinda screwing her over?  He wasn't even able to stop her arranged marriage...

Option 1:  She is dead dead.

       a.  MC dies getting revenge. End of story.

       b.  MC gets revenge and gets stuck female forever. I guess he'll get acquainted with his hubby at some point... 

 

Option 2:  MC's body is alive in a coma and his sister's soul is stuck in it. Eventually they swap back? Possibly after getting his revenge.  In which case, he used his sister's body to commit treason and she has no knowledge of the outside world or combat, she wasn't even allowed to go to school. She's screwed. Torture and execution.  Treason might also get the rest of the family killed and her hubby for good measure.

 

Option 3:  Sister's soul will take over again.  He has enlisted and she will have no idea what's going on... They're going to find out a girl is with them and then she's screwed, literally.  Or he's fighting monsters when she takes over and she's going to die.

 

Option 4:  He doesn't get revenge (forgiveness and circumstances) and his soul moves on.  Or somehow he got revenge so spectacularly that no one realizes who did it.  His sister can escape the military and do what? Return to her abusive father, who will promptly send her back to her hubby (who she doesn't remember marrying)? 

I get that he joined military to save lil bro, but if he dies, his sister is absolutely dying with him if she isn't already dead... At least he showed her husband who's in charge, which will be useful if she ever comes back.
