Mais vale um pássaro na mão...
I say this better "I am a hero" for how short it was, dragging on 200+ chapter while not solving anything suckballs.
so did his friend "Reinheart" die at the end?
Wow! I'm quite surprised at the powerful emotions this story has aroused in me! It was comically entertaining in the beginning, but later turned into a heart-wrenching tale. It has its fair share of issues, no doubt, such as unresolved threads and a rushed ending. But that aside, I really felt for the characters: Takuro, Tsukiko, Echigo, Nagao, Kanzaki, the Fuehrer... They all seem so alive.
The story was good enough, but 1 story from this guy is enough, they are all kinda the same and I dont really like his drawing, that marked me stop reading 'I am a hero'.
There was the thing I fought reading his stories: "Sayonara, bitches!".
I've discovered Hanazawa a couple days ago and I felt in love with his mangas, this one is a bit rougher on the edges when compared to I Am a Hero and Boys on the Run, but still you can see Hanazawa's themes are all there already. Drags a bit towards the end, but all the ending arc itself was masterfully emotional, and the final page had me in tears.
So, rough yes, but still packs a huge punch.
Maybe because I read a decade ago Video Girl Ai, which is seriously masterpiece in all terms, all other virtual-to-real sudden appearances seem so shallow.
great series indeed
Gosh, I would say this is one of the most moving manga I read, along with Molester Man...
Fantastic story, and so sad in the same time (because it's very realistic, pathetic characters get what they deserve, no fairy tales here). Fortunately there are a lot of hilarious moments to compensate a bit...
It's quite emotional and maybe you won't want to read that if you are a depressed loser like the main character... (or maybe on the contrary it will help you to think about your current life)
The pitch could make think it's only one of these mangas for libidinous hotaku, but it's so much more... Kengo Hanazawa is truly a mangaka like none other in Japan (you also have to read his another masterwork I'm a hero)
I've never read something that was so painful before.
Oh my God, were right next to 2015 and those computer stats are freaking crazy.
Damn that was good read, as expected of Kengo. Can't really agree with the ending though.
If the world today had that kind of virtual reality technology( the stuff around pages 18-21 ) The world would be a different place , many would even say what's outside like
I already wrote something, but it got deleted someway ... I just said you were right, even so it feels really depressing that end (he could have ended with nagao anyway), but the idea was clear, still it was a good story, but the only thing really sad is that "reinhardt" died, he reaally died T.T
And what's wrong with that?
hmm I also finished reading this awesome work of Kengo but like nearly everyone, I feel dissatisfied with the ending...
The idea that he refused to change so he deserved the ending, She said it, his looks and personality can be fixed bit by bit and she was willing to spend her time with him.
In real life fat smelly loser won't get girlfriend unless he fix himself a bit but he got a girl who cheered him on to change which is added advantage but still he didn't.
The idea behind the author is if you don't choose to change by yourself nobody will come and fix your life for you.
The author had to hurry up the ending, or so it seems to me at least.... This kind of stuff happens to mangakas a lot. But yeah.
It's meant to seem like she's moving her hands really fast. But yeah, he could've made them blurrier...
http://vatoto.com/read/_/37847/ressentiment_v1_ch1-10_by_kotonoha/53 wtf is up with her arms
So let me get this straight
this is a real treasure of a story... very very very worth the time reading it.
I feel bad for the monkey and the (zoo) animal caretaker... they put poison in the banana... I wonder who gave him the laptop???
i thought Sakamoto'd always be happy in the enddddd
