Considering the ghost under the bed gave Ling Yue and her husband nightmares of them getting killed by each other, maybe both Ling Yue's friend and fiance are going to get possessed by that same ghost and kill Ling Yue. Then they'll both of them snap out of the possession after the kill and then they get scared and hide her body in the woods?
It's one possible spin on trying to link the story to the summary...
