good smut

It got smutty kinda suddenly. Took me by surprise. Not that i mind however just a warning

Hmmm, it's kind of growing off me.  At first it was all kind of partly comedy, but more and more it's played straight, even dramatic . . . and actions that are amusingly over the top when they're played for laughs tend to be just jerk moves or frustrating if you're supposed to be taking them seriously.  Basically, gotta agree with Nya-chan now.

Jesus, that last chapter was a bit...I went ahead and gave it a "smut" tag, it should probably be marked as mature as well, but I don't know how...so...yeah.

I turned on the mature warning. (Edit button below the cover picture)

It was expected, it's a josei afterall.

w a t

Well, it's josei for you. Women being taken forcefully by "carnivorous" men and ending up liking it. Japanese women like this kind of smut I suppose.

Other than that, this story is somehow all over the place and too fast paced. The characters seem to make about turns in their feelings in the span of 2 chapters. The conflicts/feelings come across as confusing (does sempai love Moe ? does Moe love sempai?) and there's no depth about them.

I just can't empathize with any of the characters. MC is a mop, Acchan is an asshole, the sempai is a Mr Nice Guy of the type who will end up cheating on his wife with his secretary and Moe is a flat uninteresting character. I somehow expected her to be two-faced, but no, she's just a 20-something nice girl who's been going out with a guy for 3 years without having sex and just now starts to wonder if something isn't wrong.

The next twist I'm expecting is that Moe actually has feeling for her (non-blood-related, what a surprise...) brother, but by the time she confesses, he will find himself in love with MC. Or something.

Jesus, that last chapter was a bit...I went ahead and gave it a "smut" tag, it should probably be marked as mature as well, but I don't know how...so...yeah.

It is energetic and pretty well executed.  The base is not too unusual; we've seen a few of these collaborations between two people both supposedly in love with someone else, helping each other towards their goal, who of course will inevitably fall for each other instead.  And the girl is a pretty standard mouse-variety shoujo heroine:  Sweet, supposedly not too attractive but actually very cute, easily pushed around.  The guy is, um, unusually blunt; he's a character type I tend to dislike, but interestingly rendered.

Overall, there are a number of things about this manga that should annoy me more than they do, and there's nothing new here, but it's delivered well enough that so far I rather like it anyway.

Why is this getting the silent treatment? Its pretty nice
