Luka and Miku rip off?

Gosh, I don't know..........this title goes back to 2009, I'm not sure it doesn't predate that particular yuri pairing :)

Luka and Miku rip off?

Honestly am quite satisfied with the ending. I was having a lot of issues with this seemingly self imposed systemic patriarchy that this all women world was subjugating themselves to; patriarchy without a patriarch. Seriously wth was up with that. I for one am glad that there was no extreme revolution of the "lower class" rising up agianst those in power but instead the people of power realizing the flaw and resolving to change the system from the inside. A peaceful revolution. The main pair wasn't that interesting compared to the other characters imo such as Sakura's fiance who claims to have been forced to sacrifice under the eden project thing. Aoi did pose some interesting quesions in the first couple of chapters though (in short a mix party with nothing but women during the ball) but after awhile, she got silly and such....Glad things work out in the end

also some people make it seem like the etoile system is something to rag on....this confuses me because what's wrong with this world had little to do wtih the etoile system. In fact the etoile system did not even seem like much of a plot point. it didn't actually contribute anything other than give all these characters a legitmate reason to be hanging out together. The societal illness was the eden project and etoile didn't seem to really hard-line the division of adams and eves....To blame etoile seems quite misplaced.

kind of. but it's also rather telling about female society.

i can easily imagine women forcing each other into different roles like that. actually, women often do that already, they enforce gender roles just as much as men do, if not more.

It's because this systemic binary of gender roles is deeply entrenched in our society and it is difficult to imagine a society otherwise. Nearly all societies in this world permeate patriarchy and the hierarchy of masculine over feminine; it's not easy to completely rid of the division when we have all been socialized into such societal organization as well.

If you look past the stupid premise it's quite decent. I mean, really, why the heck would you divide all females into two classes? Doesn't make any sense at all.

lets see if i get this right. this is basically a yaoi story but with girls

and the main duo are in trouble for being gay lesbians

Thanks svines85 for the reupload. I really appreciate it.

Guess why they have an omake chapter crossover with a yaoi manga?

Wow, somebody did finally do a better version of it  :D

Updated with a better translation from Renai Scans.

Thank you commenters for saving me from disappointment!

:)

I don't even know why the hell I read this. Ugh.

Sub-par ending made worse by toxic scanlation. Holy Hell, what a double whammy.

This manga started off with promise but the ending wasn't all that well done.

Such a shame...

Don't read the ending yet, I thank the person who put the effort into trying to translate it... But unless you can guess what the literal translation is meant to mean, then in your head re-translate it... good luck... because this is a really bad English translation.

I really don't think it's as bad as you're making it out to be. I believe how Batoto puts it is "a legitimate effort". No, it's not perfect, but I was able to read it so........yeah.

Sorry, this was actually released over three months ago, I've been waiting for a revision or some other group to make a release but I decided it probably wasn't going to happen at this point.  :)

I liked this story more than I thought I would.

Well, getting dramatic, but it's kind of a pity . . . I know the premise was pretty silly and all, but the politics had some promise.  I wanted to see the MC gather power, keep the romance a secret, and eventually rally the downtrodden and overthrow the etoile system.  Now it looks like the writer's gonna pull back and just make a personal resolution that doesn't deal with the power.

Oh, well, I knew it was unlikely.

Could swallow most of the premise except that the whole world is supposedly even more misogynistic 150+ years in the future than it is today in at least many developed countries outside of Japan.

Where in the absence of men, some women are forced into behaving like the stereotypical man. All relying on the premise that children cannot be raised well without one adult staying at home while needing one other to support them.

Further made ridiculous by outlawing relations within the same roles when that is not even the case in even more countries today. Though maybe it's just not allowed in school.

I'll just pass on reading more of this probably.

You can read the next chapter elsewhere: It's the last, feels like axed, ended by Deus ex Machina. I'm utterly disappointed.

Somehow I got to this series. I have to say, this manga is totally yaoi disguised itself as yuri.

I'm ... confused.

Well, the author is a yaoi-artist of some fame, so it's kinda to be expected.

Huh, i'm still curious as to how they reproduce buuuut i dont rlly care :D (if they mentioned this in the manga my bad, havent read this in a while)
This was a rather sweet story, wish some of the characters would've been a bit smarter but it was fun with a happy ending :)

Thanks Electromaster!!
