Tfw only want read this because of guilty pleasure, ended up enjoying it, and then started to wish for the couple to get happy ending.

I mean I get what I want... but not like this man, not like this.

But whatever, this is a romance manga. Taken to the extreme, it means you hyper rationalize your love for someone and make decisions based on that.

... I know this comment seems incredibly awkwardly late, but, I gotta' ask. Did you read "Kimi wa Midara na Boku no Joou" before typing that first bit? Because holy zen, that's on the nose if you have. ... Also brilliantly subtle. Kudos, dude.

Considering you're asking about my personal opinion, I would definitively say "NO FUCKING WAY".

We're animals, so simple as that, the lust and desire is within us always. It can be triggered by simple things, so it's nearly impossible to remain virgin until 43, because the world is full of chances to have sex (or rape C:) with a girl.

Rationality is what sets us apart from being mere animals. If you can't control your urges, you're no better than a dog in rut. >:^(

For 25 years, this ending is bit too rushed for me. And for 25 years, the way she reminded those "deja vu"... what a miracle.

It's bad for me since I read this halfway, so I need to re-read it again from start.

It ended nicely but Chapter 49 was too compressed. Out of the blue he confesses and proposes to her.

Warning, possible spoilers below. Read to the end before viewing. I got the impression earlier that I might like the end of this, and while I let every series sit/stand on its own I have to say I rather liked it. I'm do think it could have been better served with another couple chapters of story before and end.

he pulled himself out of his hospital bed, convinced some important people to open a time portal, and took Marina back just so he could die and turn her into a young widow? Great move. (Though, in the beginning, Marina said it was ok for her to travel back in time because she hadn't been born yet, so maybe she had to return before her birth.)

What I want to know is how Marina's friend will react to this.. A creepy, middle-aged man seems like he is trying to hit on a much younger, buxom woman. She says she's never seen him before. They leave to talk alone together, and moments later they're engaged! What would you think: did he bribe, blackmail, or drug her into this? Personally, I would call the police. On a more positive note, I think the reason Marina accepted him was that she somehow was able "remember" her "past" feelings for him. This shows their love was able to transcend not only the age difference but also the space-time continuum--and even logic! Aww.

To be honest, the way I look at it they managed to change time and fate. She succeeded in making him change his ways, to open up and become a better man. To speak to his dead father as a method of self therapy, and in the mean time she supported him just long enough that he stayed in school and figured out what he would strive for. Something he didn't have before. Finding your footing can be a harsh taskmaster. we are dealing with time paradox so we can't really say the reason for her being retrieved. It could have been an otherworldly consciousness collecting her for a job well done. As for her readily accepting this creepy stalker's proposal. It's called déjà vue at first, when you realize you had to have done something ver similar before. Or that it just feels uncannily right. Anyways, it was a good story with a good end. I could feel the 'feels' when he saw the portal open, and having recognised it slowly quietly stepped from the room allowing her to go. In fact telling her it was ok. That he would come get her in the future. It was even neat how he showed up, in my view to see her in the birthing unit briefly.

Put yourself in her shoes. Some random stranger approaches you one day and proposes literally out of nowhere. You don't know him, you've never met him and he suddenly begins talking like some kind of freaking stalker. It's not even feminine wish fulfillment either. It just kind of happens "You I like. You me get the homba homba horizontal mambo!"
Admit it: If you were in her position you would be pulling out a tazer.

So that happened, hate to see this get axed, though with the never-ending mysterious illness that was getting nowhere I can't say I'm too surprised. In any case here are some of my thoughts on this:
