Ok we get it now, you loved Sakuragi and won't accept his death because it"s a BS for you , but Did you really need a wall of text for that?
I didn't expect to see the manga in here as well... Man, I still remember the anime back when It aired. Damn Sakuragi was inmortal.
And It pains me to read every single chapter knowing what's coming...
Edit: Ok so I finally read all the chapters, and honestly I still feel slightly bitter about Sakuragi's death or any other avoidable bs that happened. To make the Sakuragi issue even worse, Mario digievolved into Sakuragi the Second... I mean I noticed from the second I saw the both of them on the anime, because Mario looked similar to An-chan (probably the eyes), but is still kind of sad because that means (and is actually kind of repeated and implied in a couple of scenes in the manga) Mario is shallow as a character.
He is not his own character, he is just a shadow of Sakuragi. Hell, they even have the same face. Like literally when Mario goes to visit Sakuragi's mom and you have the panel for Mario's and An-chan's face, the only thing different between them is the hair.
I kind of understand why the whole thing happened, but at the same time I feel bitter because in a way It was kind of... unnecessary??? Except for the drama points but yeah. This manga is full of it, so no surprise there that they killed such a character.
I always thought that Mario would make that scene.

The anime though great is still inferior to the manga, some parts weren't tackled at all and it only reached until Mario's debut as a boxer.
