Overall the manga is "fine", it isn't sophisticated in any shape or form. This is a relatively short read for shit and giggles, it's "fine". Not more or less.
Of course, the ending was obviously rushed and resulted in an awful deus-ex-machina (I think I managed to vomit blood?), but I don't think anyone expected it to end well; The "power of friendship" motif in this manga is so egregious that there's simply nothing to expect out of it, 'childish' comes to my mind when I think about it (one of the ways the protagonist managed to retrieve her lost abilities was to simply have a very dubious flashback and some heart-power. Apparently the power of plot-wishing is exclusive to the protagonist), not to mention that during the tournament-arch there were some severely conspicuous illegal moves, ones that were even confessed as illegal, yet were permitted because the manga was threatened by the plot. This manga seriously lacks logic and consistency, stuff happen because it is extremely convenient for the protagonist. If you're a 'troper', this manga WILL hurt you. Bad. Unless you skip through most of the text like I did in order to avoid brain damage.
In short, this manga is FINE; it's 'cute', it will probably cause you to smirk; but it so difficult to keep one's suspension of disbelief due to the unbelievable developments, occurrences and resolutions, that beyond being "moe" this manga holds no value...But I don't think anyone expected any more than that.

Never realized this was picked back up since last year. Can't wait for future releases.
I feel like I'm missing something when I'm reading this manga, almost like I've been thrown mid-way into a story.

Just saw the very first page of the very first chapter; the art is far from "looking like crap", and the only girl I can see there may not be to everybody's taste, but she's far from "ugly" as well.
If you're going to troll, you should at least have a look at the first few pages; saves you from looking like a retard in public.
