Thank you so much!! I almost forgot this one existed, I've been waiting for more chapters to come out before picking it up again because releases have been so slow. It's good to know this will have a (hopefully) permanent home now!

As you might've seen, we've picked up Psychometrer Eiji and hope to see it till the end. This was supposed to be a slow (and surprise) release in March/April, but circumstances have forced us to show our hand early.

It may be me, but I personally like the original more. The remake is good, even if weird at the beginning for who've read the original. The problem is the character drawing. The artist's style changed too much, and while it's not bad, it is worse than the original imo... Who am I kidding? I hate the remake's drawings, It looks like a frigging shoujo manga! Bring back the 90's dope drawing style!
The remake Psychometrer is being worked on by Easy Going Scans.
Is there any news on the remake? This version should be complete at 25 volumes and the remake is ongoing at 11, but that isn't worth anything to me if it's not translated.
I'm hoping the remake is more modern and Shima is more respectable. I'm not saying she can't still be used for fanservice, but I hope she is a more respectable policewoman in the new version. She did so much stuff in this series that should have had her fired. And she wants to be respected(at work), but shows complete disrespect to all of her superiors/more experienced partners, just because they are men(at least, that's what it looked like to me). Yeah, they didn't have the best personalities, but she brought their dislike on herself from the shitty way she treated them to begin with. If you want respect, you have to show it first. You can't just go in like a bigshot and expect celebrity treatment. Everyone starts out as a grunt, unless you have serious connections or something.
Then again, if she was actually respectable, she would never involve a minor in murder investigations(using seduction to get him to agree), no matter how badly she wanted to do her research...meaning no series for us. Well, that could be easily solved if Eiji goes to her rather than the other way around.
But I digress. Is there even anyone translating this series anymore? or the remake?

I enjoy rereading this, hoping for the remake to be scanlated/licensed. I just finished shibatora, and have to say I like this pair's work quite a lot.
