Revised chapter 1 is up as an archived chapter; take a look and see the improvements since I'd first cleaned and typeset the chapter more than three years ago. I'm much happier with how it looks now so I'm looking forward to editing the other chapters to make em look even better too
Alrighty, got the chapters taken down from the other person, and mine are awaiting approval before posting. I'll be going back and editing the first three chapters in the near future so they'll look even better. Might revise the credits pages too. I'm working on other projects since this one's been done for a while, so you'll see my name floating around here and there as typesetter.
And a big thank-you to everyone who read this manga and enjoyed all the chapters
Okay someone's uploaded chapters 4-6 without my permission and I'm extremely unhappy about it. You can read all the chapters on the Tumblr page but only I can upload the chapters here since I want to personally ensure they're at their best quality before putting them here.

I recently realized how long it’s been since the last chapter (chapter 3) of Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition ~ Ransei’s Color Picture Scroll ~ was released. Two years. Two whole years. Holy fuck. The reason chapter 4 has not been released yet is because I never finished QCing it. School started and I was exhausted and had lost a lot of motivation after all of the work I had put into the Team Special Scans scanlation group - which ended up collapsing, but that’s a story for another time - and I needed to work on jb2448.info, scanning RAWs and some other projects so I just kept pushing the dates forward telling myself and petermueller88 (the typesetter) that I’d fix it on the fall break, on the Christmas break, on the spring break, on the summer break and so on. Then last year I got a part-time job, which made it even harder to make my schedule work. And since February of this year I’ve been going through a really tough time. February to May of this year was without a doubt the worst period of time in my life. Due to certain events I could barely bring myself to do the things (school, work) that I had to get done during that time and even less non-compulsory things that I used to enjoy, like fan projects like this.
I’d like to apologize to everyone who has been waiting for chapter 4-6 to get released, especially petermueller88 who has been waiting on me forever.
I’ll get my shit together and finish this.
Alrighty, finally breathing life back into this thing, and Manga Reader X and I should have the remaining chapters done in the next month. We're hoping, anyway. Chapter 4 and 5 are completed and awaiting QC, and I've gotta locate the raws to ch6 to get it cleaned and typeset. Also I'm a doofus and forgot to address this from nearly 2 years ago:
The male hero in Pokémon Conquest is loosely based off Nagamasa Azai, who was Oichi's first husband. So it kinda has to be canon lol.
Hullo everyone, I've got some kinda-bad news. thanks to both me and Manga Reader X being really busy right now, we've been forced to put the Pokenobu manga on hold until sometime in late December. Manga Reader X will be on Christmas break then, as will I, but I should also be a bit less busy at work, too. I'm really sorry we can't get the chapters released any sooner, but this is exactly why I never created a release schedule. Please be patient with us for the next month, and we should resume chapter uploads shortly afterwards. Thank you.
I'll be working on cleaning chapter 5 in the near future too. My schedule's cram-packed with work and school, so it'll be taken care of rather slowly, sorry.
There are six scrolls.
Chapter 3 and 4 are near release. They have been held back for a while because I've not had time to quality check them yet, so the delay is my fault. Sorry :/
I wonder if there more scrolls..... if there is hope they scanlate them, too.. '(e-e)
