Description: | Pocket Monsters stars a Pokémon Trainer named Red and his rude Clefairy. It is chiefly a gag manga, using crude humor and slapstick. The series diverges somewhat from the Pokémon video game and anime canon: most Pokémon can speak human language and regular animals (like birds and fish) appear alongside Pokémon. Evolution is also significantly different in Pokémon Pocket Monsters: Pokémon can evolve at any time, and they are also able to reverse the evolution. -Bulbapedia In a world filled with talking Pokemon, Red and Green compete with each other in a race to gather all the data needed for the new Pokedex! Bumbling Clefairy frustrates Red with its extreme incompetence and silly behaviour... however, sometimes Clefairy's bizarre ideas to work out in the most surprising ways!! -Chuang Yi |

Fun (non-related) fact:
Originally Clefairy was meant to be the mascot for the anime, but Pikachu turned out to be more popular than expected, so they changed it.
clefairy is the primary fighter? so random...
i mean metronome. what did you think i meant?
By the way, these scanlations I uploaded today are old scanlations both released elsewhere in August 2012, so don't get your hopes up. Nobody is scanlating this at the moment.
There's something I've been looking for quite while. ShoujoRoom's Pocket Monsters chapter 1 scanlation from March 28, 2005. If anyone still has it or knows anyone who has worked with ShoujoRoom, please PM me.
There are Pocket Monsters RAWs online and I know someone who has the English Chuang Yi volumes from Singapore of the original series as well as the Ruby & Sapphire sequel. She doesn't want to scan them since that would damage them and they are near impossible to get nowadays, but she has mentioned in the past that she might be willing to transcribe the volumes, so that someone can scanlate the RAWs using the translation from the volumes. So, if anyone feels up to that, PM me and I'll try to set it up.
this is one super funny gag pokemon manga
Is it made by guy who was assistant of Akira Toriyama?
Backgrounds and some jokes seems familiar.
I first read this when i was a kid, I thought it was some kind of fake / copycat to pokemon, but despite all of that, reading this again reminds me of how much fun i had when i read it back then.
BTW, this is not a doujinshi, It's the longest running Pokemon manga.
Do you know that this manga is the very first pokemon manga.
the most funniest mangga i read in my childhood
is there anyone really scanlating this??? PLSS do
