I think I like Douman better here, from when his superego still had any sway over his id.
short but nice.
Interesting, I could tell right away this was one of Douman's early works since his art style was quite rough. Overall a decent adaptation, with the most interesting chapter being the 7th, which as far as I can remember is something he must have come up with himself.

That was short but pretty nice overall.
Personally, Phantom Brave is probably my favorite NIS game. Nice to know Douman enjoyed the series enough to do an adaptation. Very cool. Nothing like beating monsters to death with anything you can get your hands on, whether it is a loaf of bread or a brick.
Douman is making some changes to the story line and character interaction, so those of you who haven't played the game, I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle, which is basically the original game but with added content, can be found on PSN.

Never played the game but a big fan of Disgaea related game series regardless.
And the story is pretty interesting so far so followed.

Wait what? OFFICIAL adaptation? This has to be really old. (The original game came out in 2004)

An artist I like and a series I loved.
Things like this remind me to keep up with my Japanese lessons.
Can scan, but finding a willing translator probably won't happen.
Someone else scanned the original print of this manga, so there's that. I have the new edition, so I'll compare the differences.
