A bit sad it ended so fast but it was great.
Seeing a smile on Aegis face all the time was nice...but even super strange, after 8 years of poker face is hard to look at.
Kinda disappointed that the Lethal Elevator Attendant didn't make an appearance but great manga nevertheless.

Persona was never an actual Shin Megami Tensei. It was a spinoff of a Shin Megami Tensei (IF..., to be particular, and it's said that because Tamaki, the female protagonist, shows up in P1, and both of 2). Its real title was Megami Inbonruku: Persona. Megami Inbonruku they wound up dropping for the subsequent titles, where it was just straight up "Persona 2: Tsumi" and "Persona 2: Batsu", and then later just "Persona 3" and "Persona 4".
In the west, we got Revelations: Persona (which was just the first game, but heavily localized, where "heavy" is probably an understatement) and only Persona 2: Eternal Punishment. It was only when Persona 3 came around that they tacked on the "Shin Megami Tensei" name, probably in order to sell more since, if I remember right, Nocturne did OK in the west. They did the same for 4 and the PSP port for 1. If you noticed, Golden doesn't have the SMT name, and neither did Persona 4 Arena, because it's not needed. The Persona name is so popular right now that it isn't even necessary anymore. That, or they felt bad for screwing up in the first place.
Getting back to the original question, it still IS a Megaten, just like the Devil Summoner, Devil Survivor, and DDS games because every single one of those series are spinoffs to the original Megami Tensei.

The SMT series is a subset of the Megami Tensei series. Persona 4 Arena is a spin-off of the Persona series, which is a subset of the SMT series. Spin-offs are generally treated as parts of their respective series, while maybe not as part of the 'main' series.
So, technically, it could be said that P4A is a part of MegaTen.

But the game Persona 4 Arena isnt part of Megami Tensei Series (and Persona itself is Shin Megami Tensei*)
so if its based on the game it is not a part of Megamo Tensei nor Shin Megami Tensei

Youske path was my personal favorite, followed by the Kanji one. However, you can't use the Kanji path as a main storyline as it's ridiculous.

Caesar is more a physical-oriented persona than a magic-oriented one, besides, Akihiko didn't use a zio-type spell, he just beat the crap outta Yu. And, well, in game-wise being strong against an element doesn't mean "inmune" to it.
