Wait a second. It says in the description that this spin-off takes place about one year before the start of the main series. But she's a 12-year old first-year of middle school in this, while in the main series, she's at least a first-year high schooler, which makes her at least 15/16. I think the description is wrong.

Spin-offs!

Spin-offs everywhere!
Thanks to Japanzai for another chapter of this - it looks like it's setting up for some nice character development. I look forward to more.
All the girls are just so flippin cute
Shoujo-ai?
Always thought she looked a lot like Haruhi Suzumiya, only difference really is the personality.
For the rest this spinoff is very good would like to see chapters to be released more frequently.
A "haruhi" cover xD
I Liker her : )
she looks a lot like yurippe in that cover
Very cute story. I don't mind all the spin offs, in fact I'm rather glad that we get to read more about the storyline.
@Boomsickle: Understandable XD Not a lot of people know that singing requires a certain degree of muscular activity. To "output" a stronger voice you're taught to "have the voice come from your stomach", squeezing the abdomen muscles to release more air from the lungs.
I understand the concern, but until now, the main series is self-sufficient. The spin-offs show a little more background on the characters, but you can easily live without them. No "Why the heck is this happening? It came out of the blue!" in the main series. That is, until now.
And that's after I read 5 out of 6 spin-offs so far. I don't rhink Hina's one will offer greater insight either xD
I guess I shouldn't have left a details. The main thing that bothered me was that this manga that I had started reading before the others was starting to make absolutely no sense out of the context of the others and out of frustration and not wanting to have to catch up on everything just to understand that one manga, I just dropped it.
if you get confused where to start then you need to perform a search, which doesnt take long. many big authors have long series separated into many series. good example is RA Salvatores series. how did i find first series? i looked it up in 10 min max. do the same for these,
I wonder if stuff from this will eventually show up in the main story and @Obsolete if you're talking about To Aru Majutsu no Index then I think To Aru Kagaku no Railgun is the only one that has major influence on Index.
Having a metric crap ton of spin-offs is why I dropped Index. I didn't know where to start and what I thought was the central manga was missing info that may or may not have been in the spin-offs.
lol i was sure it was the mom since in the picture she is holding her stomach so in my mind i was like oh a baby
No, for god's sake! XD

There are already enough spin-offs as is... I don't want a MILF spinoff too XD
lol thought this was about their mom my bad rofl :x
I honestly don't care for her story nor do i care if she comes back in the actual one :P though im sure she will make an appearance again
there are at least six series. hopefully... we'll catch them all.
@ Obsolete - I didn't know as well, can't believe there are a lot of spin-offs
Hmm. Thats interesting. Didn't know the series was so popular in Japan. Hope its an awesome read.
