That's quite sad and he was still pretty young, a lot of manga/LN authors have died at a rather  young age, I wonder if that particular profession has a above average mortality rate or cases like this one are simply outliers.

Um....on the first chapter, the editor answers....no, that is NOT Yuri. It is almost certainly Suzumiya Haruhi. In the first place Sora's hair color and length is closer to Haruhi's  than Yuri's....

I'm girl who watched the PapaKiki anime and I loved it. <3 no, I didn't really care about the ecchi. so this manga is heaven for me. <3

Actually, I kinda view all these spinoffs as being heavily filtered through the "star" of the spinoff. So in this one, Miu is kinda enamoured by Nimura, so he's a lot better person than he is in Chronicles, where Yuuta considers him both a friend and a major player. Just my take on it, for what little it is worth.

Teacher/Miu, huh? Is that one of them I see what I want to see no matter how much it's all in your imagination type of things? It doesn't take much guessing which route she'll eventually take though.

Ncf, I was actually wondering if she might end up having a thing with the teacher. OK, no, it won't happen . . . but consider, she's apparently never had any feelings for any guys, and she always saves the teacher, and the teacher relies on her and thinks about her and daydreams about the way her hair looks . . . really, if we're going to be open-minded that's the connection that looks closest to romance.
But, I don't think this manga is going to go yuri. Pity.

Somehow I'm not really used to the change in art style from the main series since this is shoujo while the main + other spinoffs are mainly shounen/seinen.

Not bad. I didn't expect it to work as shoujo as well as it did. A tad bit cliche in the telling, but then thats to be expected. Miu is definitely the most competent (at life) of all of them, so at least she's getting some attention.
