Fun story, but I have never dropped a manga faster than when Literally Who Translations started in with those full page watermarks because they were salty their scans were turning up on other sites.

wow i just started reading this but i gotta say, while i normally cant abide shoujo this is really good, i like that (so far) theres been minimal unrealistic drama, none of the usual OH NO THERES 6 HUNKS WHO LOVE ME nonsense, just realistic issues

I didn't really have a problem with the quick marriage given the drama involved.

 

But then quick marriages have been common among my generation.

This manga's premise and character design had so much potential.


But then they had to go ruin it by how ridiculous they got married so fast. Even by shoujo standards it's weak.


I'm not sure if it's the editor's fault because shoujo manga these days are like lightning marriages.


I don't know why I'm still reading this. Probably just for the romance development because as a whole this manga is pretty terrible.

Even when it meanders into vague subplots I enjoy this manga.

 

Anyone else hope to see Kako train hard for the mountain run so she can be on the winner's stand with her husband?

It's not Akuma Rose Scans that's publishing another version of 22 and 23 but Cookie Revolution Scans actually. Aaaand the group that wanted to do vol.7 was Freewheeling Scans. Sorry that you misunderstood me before, Farron. ^^;;

 

In case FS has abandoned this project in the meantime, CRS could always continue it, as I do own copies of the Japanese raws for the following volumes and we planned on doing it months back either way.

They have been working to release the following chapters after their completion of chapter 22, but have run into many unfortunate events during the process. Nonetheless, they are striving to continuously bring the rest of the series to us!

I'll believe it when I see it. It's been almost 4 months since Akuma Rose Scans released a chapter for any of their projects, and the tumblr site in their profile doesn't even exist anymore.

First of all I'd like to thank all of you for the kind words(although most were likely white lies hehe). Especially to those who messaged me privately, it made the entire experience for me absolutely amazing(I was overjoyed the entire day after release). I'm glad you all enjoyed this chapter as much as I did!

 

Unfortunately, I won't be continuing... because Akuma Rose Scans are alive and well! They have been working to release the following chapters after their completion of chapter 22, but have run into many unfortunate events during the process. Nonetheless, they are striving to continuously bring the rest of the series to us!

 

Secondly, I'd like to apologize to Akuma Rose Scans again here, because I neglected to ask if they were still working on 23 before I went ahead and released it. That was entirely my fault, and I'm sorry for essentially ruining all the work they've put into it up until I released a freelance. Thus, I'll be removing my rendition of this chapter when they are ready to release theirs. Be sure to give theirs a read, you will definitely see the difference between a dedicated group and myself. 

 

Finally, when I was notified of this I was halfway through chapter 24... as a surprise for all the people who were so kind to me. If you're really itching to read the next half of chapter 24, send me a message and i'll give it to you. In the chapter there are two scenes, and I finished right at the end of the first one, so no worries, it's all coherent.
