Put time travel in your stories and nobody bats an eye,

Make a mistake about genetics and science and everyone loses their minds!

 

 

As for the story in itself... Old.

 

This is, by today's standards, not a riveting tale or even an interesting one-shot. The entire thing is centered on one idea, one twist. The author spends the whole story setting it up, and there's not much beyond that. But I find it an interesting snapshot of what was done half a century ago. Damn that's old.

Asians found europeans to have big noses, so were sometimes called "big nosed guys", hence the caricatural representation of the Americans.

 

But I guess at the time, when things like that may have been new and fresh, it might have made a somewhat good read.

But it's pretty old; the description says 1967.  So I'm inclined to cut it some slack--this is from before this kind of thing had been done to death and thought through, and more so perhaps in Japan.

This kind of story doesn't work for me, because I can't suspend my disbelief regarding

It kinda remind me of another story, but I didn't remember what mmm...

What? Sonny and Cher not invited into this manga story?
