The art is nice and clean. The writing and plot, on the other hand, are hurried, simplistic and superficial. It's not too bad but it doesn't deliver on any sort of feels, either.
I think this is a translation error..If I'm not wrong the raws were Chinese but they tried giving them Japanese names, so maybe the translated the name in a wrong way? :/
