By "traps" you mean someone seeming to be a different gender or something? I don't know that such is "so popular nowadays". Maybe it is, within your particular group of friends and associates. Anyway, I agree with your second sentiment, though theoretically gender shouldn't even matter all that much, but it does to most.

@Attis, thanks for your recommendation. I had a blast reading Brocken Blood but I need to read it somewhere else as Batoto didn't have it and it kinda got dropped at vol 2.
Finally completed eh. Wished this manga would be longer T.T

I love how the mangaka draw new clothes for every chapter instead of using same type of pattern, it really is quite a feat to do that.

I still don't get why traps are so popular nowadays. It's like being given a box of chocolates only to discover it's actually filled with something you will never be able to eat. So disappointing.
