Power of Love is OP, please nerf.

Other than that, a very sweet romantic read.

Well, she did have to go through the pain of hearing how Nachi gained the true love and affection of her own children. It is likely that will stick with her a long time. Since it was Yota her son who lit up like a Christmas tree when talking about her.

Good because she was awful. I wouldn't be surprised if she eventually left that baby she had as well.

I like how this manga portrays the ideal family unit, however did not really like the part when Ryou and Shou reconcile with their birth mother. If i were in their shoes, the birth mother would have been reduced to a role as someone who merely gave birth. When she decided to leave the household to get together with her ex, she basically abandoned her children and prioritized her own happiness over her children's. This to me is the act of someone who has decided to go with the choice to forfeit all their rights as a mother/parent, and by choosing that choice she should live with the consequence "the guilt of abandoning her children". Its kind of dissapointing how she was basically given a free pass and I would have much liked a more realistic interaction.

So much this. I had no sympathy for Yuri at all. She abandoned her husband and children for no other reason that "Life was hard and I didn't want that." Yeah, Shoutarou focused on work more, but it shows that he thought this was bring his family happiness. He wasn't doing it because he didn't love his wife and kids. She showed herself at the reunion to be the raging hypocrite. She tells Shoutarou why she left and her excuse means she will most likely repeat the same thing with her new child when it overwhelms her again. Natsumi was more of a mother to the boys in that short amount of time than Yuri ever was. I wish Shoutarou had told her off. I'm just glad that Shoutarou found Natsumi because she was the much better woman overall. It's like both she and Shoutarou had to go through shitty marriages and divorces to end up together because it really showed that they were each other's true soul mate.

this is the most sugary saccharine feel good asinine love fest japanese family unit stereotypical propaganda fairy tale that espouses traditional gender roles manga ever
it's also impossible to read with any of these flaws in mind because it's so fucking adorable that it literally brainwashes you into loving it

This times infinity.

Luna-chan and Ryou-chan best OTP.

This is gonna sound creepy but I totally read it for Luna-chan and Ryou-chan.

was hoping for an epilogue where the two of them were married
Edit: also Yota and Rina

Maybe the "sweetness and kindness" overcomes all was a bit overdone in this manga, but it is one of the few completely Japanese manga done from a Christian point of view (made clear by Natchi's mother taking the two youngest children to an obviously Christian church).  There is justice, but no vengeance.  The message may be a bit overdone (and some of the villains are turned from their evil ways pretty quickly and easily) but it's a nice message.

I'm not the world's most forgiving person, and have short and unpleasant shrift for people like molesters and those who prey physically and financially on the elderly and helpless, but I like the message portrayed in this manga.  Over the top, as far as jerk bags realizing their sins?  Yes, but at the same time, so many action/drama manga preach vengeance unto the 953rd generation, and seem to condone what is nearly torture of the great, great grandson/granddaughter of a real bastard, as though he/she is responsible for the old scumbag's sins and doesn't have a conscience/soul of his/her own, I find far more disturbing.

I have always found that forgiveness is hard to understand under many circumstances, and even harder to do.  In this manga, the characters grew a great deal, and I think the mangaka is trying to tell us that a lifetime of grudges and vengeance really sucks compared to getting on with your life and finding wonderful people and wonderful relationships.

If it's too sweet and over the top, the overall message is still a good one.  A life consumed by grudges and vengeance ain't much of a life at all.  It may make good drama for reading, but living it really sucks.  Getting on with life and leaving bitterness behind is a far better way of getting back at the scumbags and evil-doers of the world than stewing in your own anger is.

Hate the way searching/updates work on this site.  Last English update was two and a half years ago but since someone uploaded an Italian chapter 2 days ago *boom* it's at the top of the list.

dude the dad became superman..... @__@|||

I can't believe there's still hope for a happy family. Almost all of my friends have trouble regarding family, I just hope the family that I will have will be a happy one.
at around chapter 32 my thoughts, "goddamnit what have i been reading for the past 3 hours"
then, "well i might as well see what happens next"
"i'm at the end i might as well finish it"
"they should get more puppies"
This is really rose-colored over the top.
Still like it for it's cuteness, but don't expect too much from the plot.
Propably 10-15 chapters too long.
like this so much :D happy family and happy ending
I love this story
Divorce because of not spending time while working hard. If you don't work hard for money, you get the divorce too..
This is gonna sound creepy but I totally read it for Luna-chan and Ryou-chan.
I was hoping for more betwen Rina and Youta but I still enjoyed it as a whole.

I liked it simply because it wasn't Yume de Aetara.
worth looking into if you're a fan of the slice of life genre and a bit of lighthearted drama. strong start although a bit shaky in the middle. It eventually ends in a predictable/dull albeit very sweet manner. The family aspect of it is very good in my opinion.
Well, on the plus side I found the art enchanting. The cute female characters were so sweet as to cause mass cavities--and the female lead was kind of sexy at the same time. Very lovely woman. And for the first moderate number of chapters I liked the writing too.
Then it gradually went over the top. The basic gimmick in the later stages is that the main characters are so goshdarned wonderful and true of heart that they carry all before them despite all reason. They kept introducing villains who were plotting against one or the other or possibly both of the main characters, and I do mean villains, depicted as deeply nasty, unethical, heartless, whatever. And then within a couple of chapters the female lead's sweetness and sincerity would have miraculously gotten through to their deeply buried hearts and they'd turn into total softies, abandon their nasty plotting and turn over a new leaf in ten seconds flat. Cue "Amazing Grace". After a while I just could not hack it any more.
I thought this was a good heart warming story. I like that it wasn't too over the top in soap opera drama.
This one's not too bad, much better than the authors other work yume de aetara. That manga was awful.
