Why do I keep coming back to read the last few chapters I've already read it 71 times based on my search history
It's honestly hard for me to sit down and think about a better ending for this story. The pace of the overall story and the characters were great, as there was no rush to finish the series while all dots were connected without victimizing or forcing anyone down our throats; yet, to those who also put Aoi's perspective into consideration, the ending comes, at the same time, bittersweet (though best girl won, there's also everything Aoi has lost from her childhood events until the second-to-last chapter) and hopeful (in spite of ALL that, she wills to recover and live a happy life, and not at all by dumping her friends). It's golden.
Thanks so much for namo for this outstanding manga, Hatchimitsu for picking it up and translating with precision and in timely fashion and Team Botan! All of you guys rock!

I'm in utter shock that botan actually won, I was so sure this was gonna end openly. While I'm glad that best girl won I felt really bad for Tokujira, all her character depth and growth felt confined to the last 3 chapters. I mean hell, her dad betrayed her, she got betrayed by one friend long ago, her first love was a lie, and her best friend captured the heart of her first love. Though stuff.
Though in all honesty she could probably click really well with the cross dressing delinquent.
The characters make no sense, but it was cute. Crazy-eyes Miyama is the best (and most useless) character.
Love the delinquent kid, embraces everything that comes at him and then some. What a treasure

It was axed after 100 chapters and is still considered now to be the most awful axe of shonen jump history, because this manga could have been a instant classic with more chapters .
