Onani Master Kurosawa

Ahh Onani Master, after rereading this i can understand i little better about why i think this manga is so good.

This manga changed me, changed what i like about manga, forged what i think a story needs to be good.

 

This truly is a masterpiece, at least for me.

One of the few manga I even bother to reread, and I do it so often, and even still, it draws such strong emotions from me.

It never resorts to cheap or reused drama to make a point.

I only wish more stories were half as interesting and truly moving as this one.

I can't fking believe this had an epilogue and I just found out it today.  
 

Does Takizawa still in relationship with afro guy? It looks like they had a breakup before the reunion start. 

It looks as though only Maiko and Kakaru made it. Takigawa and afro dude look broken up. It kind of hints at it in the novel.

I just binge read this, and I must say, this is a masterpiece, this manga went from making me feel disgusted with the twisted mind of Kurosawa to making me sympathize with him, and then breaking my heart before healing it back together with its pure wholesomeness, and characters were so well written, no black and white shit, damn, that's a 10/10 

Absolutely mind baffeling, I nearly began crying. Guess I could relate to the mc...

I am glad to finally know that Maiko and Kakaru got married. From the reunion page it looks as though they were the only couple to actually last. Which makes sense seeing as they had enough in common to get along, and were just different enough to be able to struggle and grow together. Frizzy hair and Takigawa had too much in common to last. 

A cumming of age story.

That was an incredibly unexpected Christmas gift. God, I loved this manga.

 

 

I can't remember who Fat Pizza was.

He was the fat guy people picked on, but then became super cool and stylish when he grew up/

Wow, this was surprisingly good. I did not expect something of this quality at first & almost stopped reading this, but it is definitely worth the read through.

The character development is fantastic & sends you through many complex emotions that make you feel as though you are personally involved in the story.

I had a hearty chuckle at that muppets massive afro. Like everyone else I was upset when he didn't end up with takigawa. But, you take a step back and realize that even though they had a stronger connection he didn't seal the deal. And as much as you want to hate that afro'd muppet, he's genuinely a good person. Besides the tsundere bully is a good end too.

Yes, because he was an actual character with goals, personality and an agenda. And yeah, he was a pervert and a dick. Flaws like that are what makes a character interesting and feel like an actual person instead of cardboard-cut mango stereotype.

And the reason? Because he got fucked over in love... something that should make him become even more of a dick, not less.

Hilariously, even the shy girl who was bullied to hell and back is "saved" and her character does a complete 180 - all thanks to nothing more than a spirited MMC's monologue through a closed door. This is shounen manga level of retardation right here.

The bottom line is, I thought I was reading something that wasn't generic manga happy-end-everyone-is-a-robot-that-gets-saved-by-friendship-and-love bullshit, especially since it was obvious from the art that it was a self-published work - so I thought it wouldn't have to conform to the "lowest common denominator for better sales" manga stereotypes. Obviously I was too hasty with that assumption.

So he was an "actually relatable, remotely believable, non-idiot protagonist" when he was jizzing on everyone's possessions? And not afterwards? Your life must be fucking weird.

 

I think too many people focus on the plot device (his masturbation) rather than the much more interesting character development.  It's the main character's delusions of grandeur, one sided crush, and the reality check that follows that makes this story truly endearing.
