Damn Axed

Use VPN I recommend Hola extension for Chrome, just set it for US and you are home :)

thanks for the advice

the series was kind of good, it feels like Slam Dunk, but it focused too much on Banba, as a series with a team sport, it has to develop more the other characters (although with how the series was going it could have worked in WSMagazine (the same as Ippo, Dia no Ace and Baby Steps).

and well, it also got a serialization at a really bad time, at least it was a lot more interesting (art wise and the story was promising) than Love Rush, Demon's Plan and Red Sprite at least.

hope that the artist keeps working hard, and have another chance in the short time.

The MC and his team though, rather than the usual skillful MC in fancy football team, the mangaka pick Peter Crouch from Pullisball team as the main character, way to break the stereotype lol.

Is that Trump in chapter 5 page 11? XD

it feels more like Zlatan in the raising, that goal in the friendly match

and yes, it was Trump XD

Not really surprised it ended, the only thing I really liked about t was the art and character designs. Oh well, still a shame to see it go

It will probably end in the next issue. Well, it's 6th football series axed in WSJ since Whistle! Nothing surprising.

Yeah, it seems the only way you'll make it as a sports mangaka in WSJ is if you go full fujo or full hot-blooded. And Golazo was, unfortunately, neither.

At first I thought that was just another of Banba's delusion, then came to (unsurprising) realization that is another axed Jump series ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It indeed feels like slam dunk. Physically gifted megalomaniac learns a new sport

Cool football manga, don't see them much nowadays, and since it's in Jump then there is no high expectation to become a long-running series.

First 3 chapters were done only by Viz so don't expect them here.
