Thanks for your answer, a couple of hours ago when I read this there was not too much information on this page about this oneshot it didn't even say that was a oneshot it was written as chapter 0 or something like that. Seems to be a oneshot only as it was an entry for a magazine competition (Shounen Sunday in this case, I believe?)  which usually only accept oneshots. 

 

Depending on how it's received (if it wins or even 2nd place, not sure how SS system works though), the author could either be serialized with this work or an entirely different one.

Or, they may just be in good favor within the industry and they can add this award to their resume.

 

Forgive me if I'm wrong though, most of this information I learned in passing (and Bakuman I suppose, haha.)

Thanks for the chapter. Is this just a oneshot, a prologue of a longer series or one of a bunch of chapters of unrelated stories contained on a collection?

Before reading this I thought that Scanlations still only represented the most popular series, with a good majority left ignored. 

But I guess the bottom of that barrel is getting scraped already.
